1. Introduction

The Single Column Model (SCM) testing and evaluation workflow is designed to streamline and accelerate model physics assessment. It provides an end-to-end framework, from building the SCM and running well-established SCM cases studies representing a range of physical phenomina to post-processing and visualization.

The workflow currently supports the following cases:

• MAGIC LEG15A and LEG12A: Marine stratocumulus cases

• COMBLE: Cold air outbreak and arctic mixed-phase clouds

• MPACE_REF: Arctic mixed-phase clouds

• MOSAiC AMPS: Arctic mixed-phase clouds

• MOSAiC SS: Stably stratified boundary layer

• twpice: Marine deep convection

The framework is also easily extensible to additional cases.
